Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 6:27 PM I'm from Chicago and the station that used to carry loveline stopped on Thursday (Thursday was the last one they aired). I can't find it anywhere and I've been going to bed to loveline for the last 4 years. Does anyone know of another station in the chicago land area that carries loveline, or a website that streams it?

Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 8:06 PM I can't believe Q101 would pull such a dumbshit move like that. I hated the radio while listening to loveline, no I just have a mortal hatred for it. I tried emailing Q101 and of course, no responde. Those corporate pigs, they should all choke. I'm sure the only thing now is to push other stations to picking it up, like someone already said. We can't let love line be silenced in Chicago, we must force change. We can accomplish this in numbers, so please everyone, email 94.7 in the masses! —Germany or Florida |

After Mancow set up shop at Q101, they veered towards "hard rock" (although it may be different now b/c I never listen) and 94.7 became the station of choice for those who prefer a mixture of 90's and contemporary "alternative". They also cooped some of Q101's DJs. I'm an NPR guy myself, aside from LL. Actually, my characterizations of both stations might be a little off...
