Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 12:35 AM I took some great English classes at a JC. I learned to program at a JC. The few times I have made the big bucks in my career has all been because of the classes I took at a JC. I'm gonna go get my Master's though. A & D have a pretty rigid view of education. You don't need to do it all in your early 20's--maybe if you want to be a doctor. Tons of people go make good money and return to school. I know a bunch of people from the dot-com era who made money and then when the market crashed they went back to school. Plenty of paths to becoming literally a millionaire. There are a ton of morons at community colleges but just remember that the world is your oyster.... —bguirk |
