Drew, Please

I'd like to throw out the idea of Michael Narren attaching a paypal link on his site so TLC fans could donate to his work. He is a man of exquisite passion and a dear, dear, dear, dear friend to all. It would be cool to solicit ideas for a new cartoon that's funded by TLC fans, only this one could be of decent length with a plot of some sort. I'm picturing a "day in the life of" both Drew and Adam, where you see the literal millionaire rising at about noon to sounds of Ranchero music. He'd confront the truckload of mexicans working on his newest renovation project and degrade them by explaining how to use a metal trough. Cut to Dr. Drew getting ready (actually earlier that morning) while screening his triplets with the metal detector and blood/urine samples before they head off to little Lord Fauntelroy's school for albino hemophiliacs. The story would progress and it would be a great way to include all of the nuances of the show into the cartoon. Picture the Ace man stuck behind A-holes on the freeway, then flying through left arrows and exiting an off ramp to find it closed because the GODDAMNED signs that are supposed to alert drivers of construction were announcing "missing children". Anyway, you could include all sorts of drops and clips of stuff that Drew and Adam talk about in their lives, both in studio and at work/home. Just an idea, I know Narren would need financial help from TLC members to fund a larger project, but it could be fun as hell to toss around ideas and suggestions- I know I'd kick in a semesters worth of Junior College tuition to make it happen. Michael Narren is too damned talented and generous to keep doing this stuff pro-bono, and a bigger episode would give him a chance to shine. Any comments? Don't want to sound like a blowhard, but this would rock harder than a comb in the back pocket.

As the originator of the paypal suggestion, I'll donate to this idea. Come up with an estimate and put up a paypal link, Michael.

I appreciate the thought, but I'd feel really odd about having the community here sponsor a cartoon.

A new one's on it's way by the end of the month, and I'm talking to influential people about what to do next, so let's see what happens.

>where you see the literal millionaire rising at about noon

No wait - the Ranchero music wakes him up 9:00 and he has to go downstairs to tell them what kind of joint compound to use and turn the damn music off. Or the dump truck wakes him up even ealier.

It is the mailman that does not get there until noon and when he does Adam has to sort through the Bed, Bath and Beyond sales circulars that he hates and throw them in the trash that already came at 7:00 a.m and backs up on the hill - loud bleep-bleep-bleep.

He is already irritated and has not left the house. Adam and Drew's days would be funny - Adam running red lights, honking at drivers and Drew with his stop watch and Daytimer, both getting speeding tickets.
