Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 11:48 PM Unfortunately, I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until 11:30, so I didn’t hear the first part of the show with Tom, but the part I did hear was funny as hell, and he was a pretty good guest I thought, leading to a very funny line by Adam: TOM BURBINE: I just wanted to be a better guest than him [than the last person who paid 15K to get on]. ADAM: If you would have just belched and passed out you would have been a better...no, he's a dear, dear friend. Heh, there's gratitude for ya...you should revoke your letter Save Adam. I shall listen to the rest of the show tomorrow, and judge some more.

Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 11:58 PM Edited Monday, March 7, 2005 at 12:03 AM I would love to see ZT on the show, if there was any way of replicating your personality and actions on the forums on the show, but I don’t think it would work. Unless you actually did, belch, fart, and then pass out on Michelle. But I think you should also vomit somewhere in between all those other actions, just to round it out. Also, if you showed up dressed as a Ronald McDonald with breasts, breast feeding a baby, I think that would work well too. I love that you actually found or made or whatever a picture like that.

Monday, March 7, 2005 at 12:55 AM Adam said Tom was his favorite. So much for the other guy going to bat for Adam. Having said that Tom is hysterical. Funnier than half of the comedians who come on the show. Why couldn't my professors been that funny? —victoria and B |

Monday, March 7, 2005 at 3:39 AM Yeah, I concur. That guy, Tom, was funny and he didn't have to try too hard. So for that, Adam and Drew let him do more. Plus he was pretty interesting too. They should have him on like once a year maybe. —Dodgerdude |

Monday, March 7, 2005 at 7:02 AM Yeah, he was good. I'm impressed. He held his own and had some interesting things to say. Although it's interesting how people fall into vocal stereotypes. Much like you can often tell someone is a virgin, a pot smoker or gay just by hearing them speak, Tom CLEARLY falls into the nerd category just on voice alone. With his weird pacing, inflections and stuffy-nose sounding affect. I can just picture him pushing his glasses up on his nose every few statements. Of course, he is the self-proclaimed "coolest" nerd, but still it's interesting how that works. —Beat It! |

Monday, March 7, 2005 at 12:23 PM Adam seems to do quite well with the nerdy guests (and uber-nerd Dr. Drew). Some of the best shows have nerd on them, although Dr. Bruce is the exception that proves the rule. I'm still more than a few shows behind in my listening, but I caught some of Tom live last night and it sounded great. —bguirk |

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 6:58 PM Edited Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 6:59 PM Yeah, Tom was talking about me. Do you think if I called loveline and asked for their email addy (one they'd actually check) to email the pic of me/howie/drew, they'd give it to me? I told my mom (the one who took the pic) about Drew having NO recollection of me and howie and she started freaking out. Good times. What the hell is wrong with that picture, Kevin??
