Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 9:25 PM This should be the last favor I need from yall for a bit. All the tips you've blessed me with thus far have been great. I am still searching for the Ace man's best Thunder Bear. Since this character of his does not really speak to me, I ask you what your favorite appearance was and the date and approximate time it went down. Thanks again. Anderson —Anderson |

Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10:44 PM ^ After Thunderbear began to integrate English into his vocab, it kind of lost its luster. I agree; the first few Thunderbears where Adam speaks solely in Choctaw (sp?) and Drew translates were the best! —ankiedada |

Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 12:11 AM I agree with everyone here that you should look for some between May and September of 2004. The best one I found in a quick search was probably on July 6, 2004. Wow it's a fantastic one...you even chimed in with some deep insights Anderson...and frightened the chief. It runs about 9 minutes long and spans 2 calls starting at about 73:25 of the commercial free show. —puck71 |

Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 6:38 AM Edited Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 6:39 AM There is one on 03/29/2004 around 96:00 in on the commercial version where Adam talks about being an Alaskan shaman doing a sleep study. He also talks to his wife that way in a onesided conversation like asking him to take out the trash. Adam also goes off on a guy for saying "I do not understand North American Gibberish" —dalamar23666 |

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 12:29 PM Anderson, Another Thunderbear/Running Bear bit on 11/28/04 (maybe 45 minutes in with some commercials, *starts just before a commerical break and a Hives bumper*, and has some English) - helps a girl (Alex) dating another girl from Chocktaw who she met at a circus. Your prodigee Chris takes a few shots from Thunderbear, as usual. Adam actually introduces him as Chief Running Bear - again - the bit needs more work. Bit runs about ten minutes. Need anymore...let us know. Keep up the yeoman's job - I love the drops. —Shocking! |

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 12:52 PM Edited Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 1:26 PM Found proof that Adam may actually be Chief Thunderbear. I know this sounds crazy - I feel like that reporter from the Incredible Hulk here - long live Jack Colvin. Anyway, about 70 minutes in (sans commericals)on 11/17/04, Adam and Drew are talking about the future when there will be enough white people in the ground that the Indian Casinos will start infringing on our burial grounds. Adam says he can talk to them in their native tounge - which is Chaktaw and he actually speaks in Chief Thunderbear's language, planning his speech to the Indians building their casinos. This runs for about four minutes. As you actually see more of Chief Thunderbear than I do, (even with the different studio business) you will have to confirm it if you've seen both of them at the same time. I think this is how Lois Lane outed Superman in the second movie. If you find out, keep it to yourself. Chief Thunderbear/Adam with perform some holistic chant and blank your memory. NaNaHe! —Shocking! |

Friday, March 11, 2005 at 2:38 AM Anyone know the date where the girl called in from Alaska and they summoned Thunderbear? It was easily 2-3 months ago, but I remember it was a classic. Suggesting a clip without even remotely knowing the date of the show is kind of a J.C. tard move, but I thought I'd throw it out there if anyone can recall it. Also, the Cheif's "MAIZE-HOLING" comment is a must-have. Has Drew's "Pee in my mouth" been put on the cart yet? Another good one would be Dr. Bruce's recent "Adam Carrolla has my Hooka pipe?" in reference to his stepdaughter (with tard accent). —Drew, Please |

Friday, March 11, 2005 at 12:04 PM I really don't agree with you guys when you say that the bit was better before Adam began intermittently speaking english. For the dedicated listeners it may be losing a bit of its luster as time goes on, but the bit was truly terrible when Drew was left to fend for himself. The Doc can sometimes pull off a joke or two, but is completely unable to sustain a cohesive sketch by himself. He would always just devolve into ordering coffee from Chris over and over and it wasn't funny at all. Then he would give his own, very unfunny advice, without properly pacing himself and the whole thing would fall to pieces. Once Adam started taking control there were actually some jokes to give the piece value, until then it was just Drew blowing in the wind. Uh, not to get off topic or anything. Use one of the later clips where Adam has gained a pretty good feel for the character. I assume the Bateman ep was one of these. —andrew |
