Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 3:56 PM I can't stand the guy. His stand-up jokes suck. He is so not-memorable the only one of his movies I can name is McHale's Navy(which also sucked massive ass). Your thoughts. —foob2011 |

Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 4:24 PM I think I saw a small part of one of his stand-ups, but I can't remember it. Never seen anything else with him in it, but I do enjoy him on Loveline, so I got nothing against him. —Dark Laith |

Yah DtHick, it's got a life of it's own but that's 'cause there's just something about DAG that makes it happen. Here's a guy with major talent, a ph*ckin' Yale grad, who's sometimes so damned funny you can't stop laughing ... but other times, and especially on Loveline, you can't stand to listen to him. He steps on Adam's lines and he steps on Dr. Drew's lines. That's bad enough, and rude too. But what makes it worse is that most of the time what he's got to say (or screech) isn't funny/clever/witty/relevant and just brings whatever's happening in the conversation to a grinding halt. Funny voices ain't humour, DAG dude, and neither are those chopped-up riffs that last for a second or two and then disappear into .... well, dead air, nothingness. That's all low-attention span stuff and not worthy of a show where we get to hear Ace Carolla's mad inspired rants whenever he feels like going off and doing one. Give us some credit, DAG. Ok, lottsa people can't wait to hear you on Loveline. But you know it's true that a lot of the rest of us just think you're gonna be remembered as this generation's Jerry Lewis. What mood is that, babyivan? Maybe if a piece of drywall fell on my head and made me stupid and the drool was running down my chin, I'd go looking for DAG on Loveline. Andy Dick is just ... well ... i guess i'm glad he doesn't have to work for a living ... but sheesh ... he makes my skin crawl sometimes. DAG ought to bring his "A" material to Loveline, is what i think. Hey, i just thought of something. Does anybody think DAG's intimidated by Ace's skillful rants? Like, maybe he thinks he can't compete so he just wanks off into that nonsense that pisses off so many of us? Ace's rants just might be the standard by which post-Howard terrestrial radio is gonna be judged, IMO. DAG's gotta step up to the plate and bring the good stuff for a change. ----- go on, you know you want to ... click on Fuego y Pasion ... http://search.launch.yahoo.com/launch/search/?m=video&p=sentidos+opuestos —Hans Langer |

Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10:17 PM Man, I wasn't going to say anything else but I gotta give some credit to Hans Langer. He articulated with such extreme precision exactly what's the matter with A.C.'s "main man". Buddy, you put words to the bad feelings I felt whenever I had to hear DAG fake snoring/ruining an otherwise hilarious Adam rant etc. However, I also gotta say that he gives some stellar advice and is way cool when he calms down a bit and doesn't try to take over the show. —Spyrock Jonah |
