I play my mp3 player at work over the radio speakers(loveline, of course), and everybody misses the show. My co-workers always ask me," what ever happened to that show?". I cant begin to explain why the fuck the show's not on in one of the biggest cities in the country (the world for that matter). Atleast they cant take Howard away from us, he broadcast's from NYC! Loveline's big in Cali, it's too bad that it's not the same over here.
(I know it's an old topic, it just drives me nuts every time I think about it)

Turst me, you wouldn't miss Howard. Plenty of stuff on the dial at those hours. Radio is pretty bleak at 10PM.

Why not download the shows into your mp3 player? There are plenty of sites on the web where you can get the latest shows.... Check the FAQ section.

^^Yes...thank you, I listen to it at work as well as Howard(Im not up that early to catch Howard live).
My point is that most people are not like us,they dont have the knowledge to get the show off of the internet.
To the poster who said that Howard wont be missed, "how dare you Drew!!!"
The HS show is landmark radio, he helped pave the way for shows like LL.
My two favorite shows are HS and LL, if either of them went off of the air (or Adam left), I would be crushed!!!!!!

^^ doesnt matter if he paved the way for Loveline... Hitler paved the way for the thought that radio is a powerful tool for the masses. Should Loveline give thanks for Hitler? I sure hope not.

So let me get this straight...your comparing Howard Stern to Hitler????
Let me see...a guy who entertains millions to a guy who killed millions(6 to be exact)
WTF!!!!!
(I see you deleted the post I quoted.....um, ok)

Philosophy 100 should really be required in high school. People have lost the ability to form logical arguments. BTW, "slippery slope" (not asians covered in baby oil) is classified as a logical falacy. Feel free to berate the next person that tries to use it. Aaaaaaaaaayyyeeeeee.

babyivan, what is meant by your ^ and ^^ symbols? Is this some sort of code that the youngins use these days as a "back to you"? Is the ^^ of more importance than the single ^?Is there a scale, say, from one to ten (^...^^^^^^^^^^)? I guess this old fart is showing his age as I've never seen it before....other than from a few of the folks in here. I'm curious, I really am.

^ or /\ is meant to show where the comment was directed as sometimes it gets confusing. Also it provides an opportunity for people to flame each other.

Maybe there is a scale...Im not sure. I wasnt consciously adding more ^'s to my post, if that's what your asking. I guess I could copy and paste a quote, which I often do, but sometimes I get lazy and just use the "^". I hope this helps with your inquiry.

babyivan, be careful with that. ^^ is seen as a smilie, like ^_^ without the _.

*realizes about half of that sentence didn't have words*

...Of course, you could always / the % without using and $ or ! @ all.

What I was trying to say is that people should shut the hell up about Howard Stern and his "paving the way" its over used and extremely annoying. After hearing it the first dozen times from people it got old and stupid. Don't get me wrong, I used to listen to Howard Stern too. But I have grown up and his humour has not.

Thats quite all right guys, I respect your opinions. I am a long time SUPER fan of the HS show, and I happen to feel otherwise about the fact that the show's not good anymore.
I think it's better than ever since Artie Lange joined the show. Jackie was a no-talent TARD who contributed nothing to the show, Im glad he's gone.
I want to get back to my original point of this thread.....How the FUCK does NYC not have LoveLine? It saddens me DEEPLY and depresses me something fierce!!! I do get the show otherwise(newsgroups)....but thats besides the point.
NYC NEEDS that West Coast flavor!!!
