Friday, March 11, 2005 at 12:13 PM I always found/find it interesting that all the care/nurturing/worry about providing a safe environment for students goes out the window when it comes to student sports. Every day after school (and during PE) the PC crap stopped and the head games and abuse began. I had some great coaches, but there were some burnt out psychopaths in there too. If a teacher called a male student a woman during school hours they'd have to go to some seminar about gender sensitivity and student achievement support. Magically on the sporting pitch the same slur is character building. Get a hand in. —bguirk |
