Adam has certainly learned a lot from Drew, you can hear it in his voice, the questions he has for callers. But Drew has "learned" phrases and wording from Adam more than anything else. Does this signify anything? I've come up with a couple of possibilities. Maybe it's "street smarts" vs "book smarts"? Higher education requires one to commit to memory, then regurgitate specific facts and words. Less than thinking about it, sometimes, it may become an automatic response. Out in the non-collegiate world, you learn by adapting things that work into your life, without mimicing them 100%. Or, maybe it shows Adam may be smiply "smarter", able to extrapolate? Or maybe Drew has that few friends? Drew is more malleable? I dunno... —Lou Cypher |
