Monday, January 10, 2005 at 6:24 PM Hey guys! I come here a lot to get the link to download the episodes and had a nice collection of over 6 gigs of LL episodes until that hard drive died on me. But anyway, I am an actual smart listening of loveline contrary to Adam's belief that all callers and that the LL audience is stupid, I am not. Well, I personally am a web designer and know a lot about and enjoy making websites. Since I love this show a lot and I want to take on a new project, I would be willing to create a nice professional design for a great website like this. I currently don't have a portfolio website to show off any of my past work and my past work has often gone down the drain because of the cost to maintain it or anything else. I also need to fill up my portfolio. I also spend much more time trying to learn more than actually putting it to use because I want to know more and be more prepared when I go out and make such a thing. So, yeah, admins and visitors to LLC, would it be alright to make a new design? If you guys consider it, I could create a layout and make a graphic of what I have in mind. —Michael.G |

Monday, January 10, 2005 at 6:52 PM Thanks, Kevin. I wasn't aware. I guess its kind of like Maddox's website at maddox.xmission.com (I think he should go on as a guest on Loveline because he seems similar to Adam and they could be good friends). Google has a simple design as well. I was just hoping to create something that was more inviting. Hmm... I saw in the post by Silent Virgin that the server has php and mysql abilities and I thought of game that would be the best to do with php. This is my idea, anyone to sees this, ok? Well, I could create a GoF game in php and people could compete and it would have a high score list and such. Maybe I could do that. I don't exactly have anyway of hosting it though and even if I did, the bandwidth would go out really soon. —Michael.G |

Monday, January 10, 2005 at 6:56 PM chix0r: Don't give me that. I do plan on going to a regular (NOT JUNIOR, JUNIOR, JUNIOR) college and majoring in Computer Science or for some other technology degree. I used to make all A's in school and was ranked 52 of 550 students at my school until the last part of last year where I believe I have had some depression affect me and my abilities to do well. —Michael.G |

Monday, January 10, 2005 at 6:57 PM as i've said here before... sparse, minimal design does not mean crappy design. it could use a better design. and it could load just as fast or faster while looking better. —Everyone Has Warts |

Monday, January 10, 2005 at 7:49 PM This site is fine really. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a couple features to the forum such as splitting huge threads into several pages and to offer a reply function. The site is fine. Some little games might be fun, but like Loveline, we like to keep it simple. —clodhopper |
