Monday, January 3, 2005 at 5:01 PM Do any stations broadcast the show on AM, or are all stations FM? And, does the show air live on any east coast station, live? (1:00 AM-3:00 AM) Thanks. —Brice |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 5:22 PM In answer to the first question, there supposedly was a station here in Florida (Jax) that broadcast Loveline on AM, but I think that was a loooooong time ago. As far as the second question goes, nope -- if you wanna listen live on the east coast, you have to listen to the internet stream from 91X in San Diego. (1am - 3am est Mon - Thurs/ 2am - 4am est on Sun night) —steve |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 5:35 PM I really cannot help but wonder why the show can't broadcast live on the east coast during the middle of the night. Coast to Coast AM, and other over-night shows bring in a decent audience, during the same time-slot. And, I'd rather hear the show at 1 am than a pre-recorded show the next night. It makes me feel as If I've lost the live moment; that I'm not enjoying the show with LA, and the guests, and Adam and Drew. I sort of feel...left out getting a delayed stream. And, If the concern is that teens are the target of the show, I still don't see why this is a reason to delay the show so it can be played earlier; teens who wish to talk to Adam and Drew must stay up late anyway to call in. So, what is the standing argument against playing the show live on the east coast? —Brice |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 5:45 PM If I remember right, WHFS (BALT/DC)used to broadcast the Sunday night show live at 1 AM, but tape at 10 the rest of the week. What's even weirder is that meant Monday's show was actually Thursday's show on tape. —metatext |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 6:43 PM Someone should put Loveline on Shortwave. Thats my advice. One shortwave station playing loveline, all of the hardcore listeners would be able to hear it. Or, at least static that sounds like it. But, hey, what are you going to do? —ZT |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 6:45 PM I think Loveline should be on every station at exactly the same time so ne one (or just idiots like me) aren't confused by the time zones. But I'm just stupid. —Goddess of Death |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 7:00 PM I can understand why it is on delay though. I listened in Memphis on live Central time when I was in high school and would fall asleep before it was over. It doesn't help ratings when most of your target audience has to be up early for school. —sillygilly25 |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 8:25 PM not on any AM stations that I know of... but here in DC it's live on Sunday nights from 1-3am. Still not sure WHY, but it's 10-midnight M-Thurs and then Sunday 10-midnight (recorded show from Thursday) and 1-3am live. confusing enough??? I must say, I love the live shows. I feel more a part of it instead of left-out cause of the day delay. —PureChaos414 |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 8:47 PM Loveline on shortwave? LMAO!. Could you imagine the power trip Adam would get from that? He's pissed off Hawaii right and proper, look out the rest of the world (dependent on propogation that night, of course).. But hey ya never know, Loveline in the sunni-muslim world might be the cure. You NEVER EVER know.... Trouble over there, everbody... check the news. —masonjar_condition |

Monday, January 3, 2005 at 8:50 PM The Mighty Mojo 730 (Talk Radio for Guys) in Vancouver was on AM...but due to the fact that I was one of the five terrestrial listener...they sadly went all sports. (This was the station that was fined for "hate speech" because of complaints due to the "just thinkin' bout the holocaust" bit with Tom Arnold). At least listening now to cable FM from Seattle I to not have to kill myself because they only had 3 promos and no commercials - and it was driving me INSANE! —Laxdude |

Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:16 AM Edited Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:17 AM I'm on the West Coast, so I don't have to worry about the day-delay thing, but if I did I would rather have it. Yes, the un-live-ness would be disappointing, but there is no way I'd get away with staying up that late. I'd either fall asleep in the middle of the show, or I would simply not be getting enough sleep. And Loveline does not need to go to satellite radio. A large audience would get cut out, and we can't have that happening, now can we? —Dark Laith |

Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 3:28 PM And Loveline does not need to go to satellite radio. A large audience would get cut out, and we can't have that happening, now can we? It doesn't only have to be on satellite radio. It can be one both, like some other shows.

Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 7:04 PM Yeah, I've thought on more than one occasion that all high schools should just scrap their crappy Health/Sex Ed classes and just make Loveline mandatory listening or something. —Dark Laith |
