Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 1:11 PM Not to rain semen on your Loveline parade, but 2003 is well covered by Kevin U., puck71, and Mike on the hub. Do you have any other shows, preferably from pre 2002? —Colin |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 1:41 PM Not to rain semen on your Loveline parade, but 2003 is well covered... Aren't you the same guy who was stumbling over himself to bring us new, two-bit, and hare-brained, mechanisms to download shows? What problem could you possibly have with an enthusiastic fan increasing the availability of recorded shows using a simple, tried-and-tested solution like FTP?

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 2:38 PM Maybe I left full meat out of the loop on this site. I must have, since that person is so pissed at me for trying to coax older shows out of the communitys' hard drives. Whatever. —Colin |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 3:04 PM I'm pointing out how ironic it is for you to be pointing out redundancy as a reason for a fan not to contribute. I'm not sure how you got from that to me being ingrateful for old episodes. —Full Meat |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 3:10 PM Odd, since you perceived I had a problem with sharing and asked what it could possibly be. I was not demanding that the user not share. Since you were unhappy with my ideas for new methods for downloading shows, I concluded that your shrill post was from not being directly told about the server with old episodes. —Colin |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 3:11 PM Whoa. Calm down, kids. C'mon. *clap* Break it down. Can we all agree that there can never be too many sources for LL shows? And that yes, we'd all like to get a hold of the older ones, but they're very hard to come by? Okay. Also, I'm not sure ingrateful is a word. But that's a side issue. Okay, it is, my bad. It's just really archaic. —TortillaFactory |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 3:49 PM I would say that duplication is a pretty good thing. Regardless of what others may say I think. I wanted to make sure you (maestro) didn't have older shows that are more rare. Hey Liz, grammar notwithstanding, it would seem that I'm hated here now. Conjecture and speculation being the major factors to my new status. Good times!!! Sometimes it seems I'm at the receiving end of one of these > —Colin |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 5:04 PM it's always good to have another source. remember when trig gave up on the loveline hub? if someone else hadn't stepped up, lots of people would not be hearing ace's mexican ranchero accordian countdown. in this case, it just takes some of the sharing burden off of those who have contributed so much. —no! cannot have! |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 5:42 PM > "If you can procure 06-06-2000, you will be my new dark god.." A quick search for the 2000-06-06 show resulted in two users currently sharing it in the hub; Perfect Circle as guest, is that the one you are looking for? > "remember when trig gave up on the loveline hub?" In Trig's defense, he didn't really "give up" on the hub, his ISP pulled his service and he wasn't able to get re-setup for a few weeks, so ACE stepped in as host. —Kevin U. |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 6:28 PM very true kevin. i didn't mean it as a jab at trig, because i appreciate how much he shared. i just meant that the more people who share, the less likely that we'll have to go without. —no! cannot have! |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 6:30 PM Sorry to hear that - I guess that's the quality of coverage to expect from the 2000 shows though, sadly. Some day we are bound to find someone with a better archive of that year. —Kevin U. |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 11:03 PM Again, this is a perfect example of what we were talking about in the JKL thread -- Doesn't it seem absolutely insane that there's not a "professional" (I.E.: show-sponsored) archive of Loveline? —steve |

Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 10:41 AM There's that whole FCC-could-sue-us thing. Although I think Producer Anne is overreacting, the show's on during the safe harbor, and who cares about a lack of a statute of limitations, they're not going to wait longer than a year to fine you for anything that anyone on the show (well, Adam, let's be honest) would do that was bad enough to make them fine you! Sorry if my post was cryptic. Someone else explain the whole show-archive thing, I'm tired. —Dark Laith |
