Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 3:56 PM I think the ideal Germany or Florida? question would be about an alligator or crocodile (biting someone, getting loose etc.) and take place in Germany. Or maybe about neo-Nazis in Florida. For a while I was searching through "news of the weird"-type archives looking for just that, but I gave up. —Dubious Merit |

All of the good GoFs are the ones where they spend entire minutes puzzling over the little different clues, not a few seconds over one or two big ones. —Dark Laith |

Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 4:14 PM Thank you Dark Laith for explaining the game to me (I already knew the point). I think it is a dumb game and just wastes time and just thought this was a funny story. I wasnt suggesting anyone call with this one. —Marc |

Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 4:47 PM I wasnt suggesting anyone call with this one. Then why post it? that's the only reason anyone else on this forum posts these stories, and you didn't exactly state that you didn't intend for this one to be called in in the first place. As for explaining it, a lot of people on this forum seem to be missing the point of GoF when they post stories that are obviously Germany or obviously Florida (mostly the latter). It seemed like a reiteration of the aim of the game was called for. —Dark Laith |

Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 9:57 AM Well, I don't know if it was someone from TLC but they used this last night and everybody got it wrong. I guess it wasn't "way too Floridian." I know, I was so amazed. I heard the caller describing the story and I recognized it, and when they all went with Germany I was like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, YOU TWO, THIS STORY REEKS OF FLORIDA!" Yeah, A&D are losing it. —Dark Laith |
