Friday, December 3, 2004 at 4:13 PM What a great story. I laughed myself out of my chair picturing the different scenes in my mind: Adam waiting at the curb at 4am for the "C" who never showed, Drew sitting on the plane by himself while Adam frantically runs down the concourse, Adam having a meltdown at the gate. Can anyone throw out a date (or a date range) for this incident? —Full Meat |

Friday, December 3, 2004 at 5:16 PM Around 6 years ago as Drew mentioned. I do remember the pre-trip show when Adam was soliciting volunteers. I didn't, however, think he was serious. That first show when they got back is a classic and I'd love to hear it in its original form again. —digger |

Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 12:57 PM I've got to agree, there is something especially funny about that story! The way you can just picture EXACTLY the way it looks, and the absurdity of getting a ride from a listener, and the fact that he ACTUALLY did it, I don't know, it may be the best story he's told. Even better than crapping in the shower. I remember hearing him solicit calls for that too, but I can't remember if I thought he was serious. I do remember thinking "what a gyp" since he was only accepting rides from chicks, and also thinking that the chick would be sure to be unreliable. If I'd done it, I'd have got to the spot like the night before or something. Yeah, I'm a nerd, I know. The after show incident where he described it was just as hilarius the first time too. —Masteel |
