Sunday, November 14, 2004 at 11:19 PM I wish Adam keeps his interviews w/ reality-show guest shorter. I find the utterly pointless gabble boring. What do you think? —crumple1 |

Monday, November 15, 2004 at 9:46 AM Adam's taste for reality TV has always annoyed me. It's really crap. I only enjoy the spoofs such as My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss and even then I don't think it's really that good. —clodhopper |

Monday, November 15, 2004 at 1:24 PM But, that's the deal. Once we become the co-hosts, then we can have more input. I'm ok with it because, dammit, they are actually guests Adam cares about. I'm sure he gets sick of the fad of the moment rock stars half his age who think they have it all figured out. That's one of the perks for him, and I think the fact that he is enjoying the guest makes it a more enjoyable show in general. —Lou Cypher |

Funny stuff. —theweed420us |

Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 8:41 AM As I recall The Darkness were alright guys. They very kindly said that the show wasn't for them and they left. I don't think they left because it wasn't, "all about them." If that were the case Adam would have ranted about what assholes they were, and he didn't. They left because they misunderstood what Loveline was, and no longer wanted to do it. —Erlog |

Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 10:51 AM Edited Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 10:52 AM Um. They very kindly said that the show wasn't for them and they left. They said it on air. The "kindly" thing to do, if they insisted on leaving, would be to do it during the break. I don't think they left because it wasn't, "all about them." One of the guys in the band said that's why they were leaving. They didn't realize the nature of the show, and thought it was going to be about The Darkness. If that were the case Adam would have ranted about what assholes they were, and he didn't. It wasn't a "rant" in the sense of the yelling and whatnot, but both Adam and Drew spoke not-so-well of them after they left. —Dark Laith |

Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 4:45 AM Time has a way of souring things. A&D were pretty ambivelent on the night of, but have since deemed the Darkness a-holes. Listen to the most recent Andy Dick show, where they both say as much. Or the show the night after the Darkness booked, when Adam describes their performance on Jimmy Kimmel live. As for staying on topic: yeah, hate the reality guests too. Cause they have nothing to promote. If they're on the show, it means they've been "kicked off" whatever, which means they have no need for you to watch it anymore, which means "who cares." Show hosts (randy jackson, jeff probst, etc) fare a bit better since, as mentioned, Adam is usually a fan, and can/will engage the guests better, or perhaps he just tries harder to get them to like him. —Low |

Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 7:24 AM Adam and Drew were extremely pissed at The Darkness on the night of their appearance. The only reason why they didn't rip them a new asshole on the show was because they book many guests through that same publicist. Listen to the show again and listen in the second hour when Adam tries to restrain himself from lashing out about them. That appearance only confirmed how lame The Darkness is, I'm so glad no one noticed them in the states, the UK can have them. I like the reality show guests. Most of the time they have something to say and if Adam watches their show he's into it. I'd much rather hear a reality show guest than one of many half human tards who call into the show. —greymatters |
