Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 1:33 AM Maybe it was some time last year, but there was a show where Adam kept playing "Burn" by Deep Purple at various point in the show and commenting about how much the song ruled. He kept harping on how the song was really long and so much better than anything on radio today. I can't remember who the guest was, but they didn't seem to share Adam's enthusiasm for Deep Purple. I totally agree with Adam -- "Burn" is one of DP's best tracks, though rarely played on classic rock stations due to it's prodigious length. Anyone know which show I'm talking about? —hochi666 |

Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 1:48 PM How about the show where Drew had to leave early, one of his kids was very sick, and Adam took over the last 30 min or so, and was singin along with "Blood sweat and Tears" ? He would ask the callers a question, listen to the first few seconds, then Anderson would turn up the music and Ace would jam, whats the date on that show ? —illyB |

Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 10:25 PM I remember that one. Lucretia McEvil, Blood Sweat and Tears. I don't know the date of the show. The Aceman has great taste in music.

Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 5:52 PM I don't know about that particular show, but I do remember that Adam had one or two shows where he did nothing but rock out to Blood Sweat and Tears -- It was last year, the day before, and the day of his birthday (May 26, 2003 and May 27, 2003 with DAG.) —steve |

Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 10:57 PM It seem's we all listen to the old shows. I only discovered Loveline a couple of years ago (because I live in England!) which means I have access to a lot of shows that I missed originally thanks to the power of MP3. I also save the new shows but to be honest unless somebody on here alerts the board to a funny item or show I dont usually get around to listening. The old shows are just so entertaining, I make up CD's and pass them onto my Son and his friends, so Adam Carolla and Dr Drew continue to find a new audience even after they have gone thier seperate ways. —AceRockollaisAce |

Friday, July 7, 2006 at 7:04 AM I know what you mean, all my friends who are fans are always listening to the old shows. I sometimes think about how much I know about the movie, music, & TV scene from 2001-2005 (roughly). Simply because I have heard those shows more than once, and they are at my fingertips for enjoyment any time. I am regularly amazed at the community of fans and availability of mp3 shows, its great! —viper66_2020 |
