Monday, November 1, 2004 at 1:49 PM There was a game like that in the 70's. It came with bean bags and a tic-tac-toe unit with x's and o's on little axles. They would spin when the bean bag went through. It was like 3 feet on each side. Seems similar to me.

Miami U is a school in Oxford, Ohio. :P No lube required for either. It's a pretty nice school, but I can understand why you don't like it. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 2:30 PM Please. Get off your high horse about the nobility of poverty. I find it ironic that the people who typically espouse this b.s. about "rich kids" are the same people who consider themselves "open-minded". Open minded, but you can wave your hand and group your fellow students by income level and then stereotype that entire group with a caricature that you derive from Molly Ringwald movies and "Revenge of the Nerds". My parents worked hard to provide for me, and I have every intention of busting my ass to provide an even better life for my children. Meanwhile, you can pass on your tradition of resentment so your kids can give my kids the stinkeye for the same silly reasons. —Full Meat |

Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 3:01 PM Edited Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 3:02 PM Adam is the ultimate rich snob. Technically I suppose, if you're rich, you get to be a snob, that's part of the deal. But people could at least admit it. Besides, he didn't say "rich people are snobs." He said there were a lot of "rich snobs." That's two different qualifiers, not one thing qualifying the other. —Dark Laith |

Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 6:04 PM Yeah, you took a long leap onto the jump to conclusions mat. There's nothing noble about being poor. I would much rather be rich. However, I believe I would be rich and a decent person, not rich and an ass like many of the people here. My comment about it being fun to be poor was sarcasm. It doesn't come across well on the internet. —Grand Fromage |

Friday, November 5, 2004 at 4:45 PM Adam simply wants to keep the money he's earned and not be reamed by a society which thinks he's bad because he's rich. He has ever justification to be a "snob". Society insists on placing an invented burden on him to support society. Too bad Adam simply is complacent and just pays his taxes (and insists others do too). —clodhopper |
