Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 7:55 PM Ganthet: no, you're right, "likeability" was the wrong word - I mean something more like "personal affinity" - he seems to think in the same manner that they do, have a similar worldview in some respects (although probably not in other areas that they don't pay as much attention to as religion etc), and so they vote for him... but they ignore the fact that regardless of his worldview, he is massively lacking in the qualities that a person needs to be president (thoughtfulness, judgement, patience, ability to consider multiple points of view, the ability to plan and think ahead... etc) —daveman |
