For those of you looking to find another issue to incredulously and with immense bias bash Christian conservatives hear me out. There is a point to be made about this. Most of these people did let their social Christianity and their prejudices get the best of them in this war. Most people were just trying to do the right thing and they subsequently allowed Bush to use their religion as a political ploy. People think that "morals" equal "neglect an entire class of people because I don't agree with them" and that the situation in Iraq can be handled by the same man who created. Sorry, the Conservatives aren't a self-correcting bunch. Be thankful that Bush has about six months to two years to fix this situation and come through on his promises. Otherwise these red states will become "blues" preety quick. —Jason |
