Republicans are on the way out, it's only a matter of time. We saw the beginning of the end of Republicans in this election when Ken Salazar, a self-made man, defeated the son of a wealthy shitty beer baron -- Pete Coors. You saw another great example in Illinois where Barack Obama defeated the epitome of Republicans, Alan Keyes. I see this as a clear rejection of the right-wing radicals in the Republican party that love Bush so much. If Bush wasn't so dishonest with his centrist vote-whoring rhetoric, he would have went down as bad as Keyes. I'll tell you who ran an honest campagin -- Tom Daschle. Daschle, John Kerry, and the Democrats had real grassroots support and we're out pounding the pavement day after day doing REAL work. Republican's just had a bunch of atomotons that they mobilized by funneling money in to a lot of fear-mongering and negative propaganda -- but even that couldn't save Pete Coors or Alan Keyes! Democrats are better organized now than they ever have been! Kerry supporters will regret losing the popular vote. But, theres plenty of infastructure and momentum now! Over the next four years, the world will see exactly how the power of organized hard-working patriots can overcome the weakness of organized money. —ZT |
