Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 7:10 AM One thing that has annoyed me about Drew is when he will stick to a point and wont waver. For example, on the Seth McFarlane episode Adam asks if a caller's boyfriend is in construction. Her respone: "Wow, pretty good guess, he's an electrician." Drew goes into his mock indignant, "Way off, way off." What did he want her to say? "Adam, WOW, you are a genius! " I can understand it in cases like the batting cage and when the callers give no props to Adam but this time she did. Sorry for ranting -- Drew gets to me sometimes. —Marc |

Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 8:42 AM I hate it when he interrupts... and not just when ruining Adam's punchline, but also to guests. The latest incident was when that sports guy was on, and he was just about to tell a story about Joe Nameth or Jimmy The greek when Drew butts in with a question and the story was never finished. —enliteneer |

Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 4:43 PM The think about Drew that annoys me the most is that he seems to have the everything-looks-like-a-nail-if-all-one-has-is -a-hammer problem. I can't blame him for wanting to bring a problem into his area of expertise, but addiction is not always the root of problem. I remember about a month ago Adam was talking about some TV news magazine's report on seemingly together college students committing suicide, and Drew immediately concluded it was an adverse response to drug experimentation. Adam disagreed but he didn't have the energy to argue about it. —Mahalo |

Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 1:16 AM Edited Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 1:19 AM Think of Drew as the old crazy person in the nursing home that's been around forever and just won't die. He's been with that show since the beginning so we're stuck with all his eccentricities. He plays off Adam well and is better than the other fill in doctors. You've got to have the "odd couple" element and he delivers. Check out the Clip - "Nevada fruit (Adam loses it).mp3" and notice now well this works. Nobody liked Tony Randall for the same reason, but now that show has transcended generations. —benben |

Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 10:08 AM (Charlotte's Web, anyone?) That book sucked. Read Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind, there's a guy in it who kills a little boy by feeding him molten lead, and then proceeds to remove his brain, heart, and testicles, mashes them up, and consumes the resulting paste-like concoction. Good times. —Dark Laith |
