Mr. Mason Jar

+

Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 12:10 PM

Here's a fun topic. My roommates and I are putting a stripper's pole in the middle of our room. Naturally we need a good play list of "carolla style" strip club music.

Here's what we have so far:

Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
Poison - Cherry Pie
Motley Crue - Smoking in the boys room
Billy Squire - Stroke me
Def Leopard - Pour some sugar on me

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

How about Adam's remixed version of that System of a Down song, "No, Cannot Have!"

1. Guns N Roses version - Knockin' on Heaven's Door
2. Nine Inch Nails - Closer
3. Kid Rock - Cowboy
4. Ludacris - What's Your Fantasy

All have been verified by my local strip joint.

My strip club of choice (Little Darlings, San Francisco) seems to love depressing-ass music. The national anthem of that joint is that Deftones song where he sings "I've watched you chhhhaaaaannnnngggggeeeee." If I'm trying to get a boner, I want Celebrate Good Times or something. Does any other strip club pull this move?

Thanks for the info guys. Anymore songs are more than welcome.

Yeah, we have a stripclub in Portland called Mary's. It's the shittiest place in town and they let the strippers choose the music. They play mostly Canibal Corpse and System. Big time boner killers.

Yeah but Cannibal Corpse are still a kickass band. And I think it's funny as hell that they play bands that talk about fucking corpses and stuff. The girls' reasoning, probably, is that guys will enjoy watching them dance, but will not be turned on to the point where they'll try something on one of the ladies. I don't know. But any strip joint that plays death metal is fine by me!

How could you guys forget Bon Jovi?

Bad Medicine
Livin' On A Prayer
You Give Love A Bad Name

Pretty much all their stuff...

i've never been to a strip club, but how about some classic 80's stuff:

J Giles Band - Jesse's girl
and that other song "She's probably somebody's baby"

and you can't go wrong with some classic rock as well:

The Doobie Brothers - "Long Train Running" ... fuck i don't know. and the classic 'adam's theme song' ... i think it is jimmy eat world "Bleed america" and then you can swap in the 'dopey bounce music' that everyone else in the club hears when adam comes into the room.

I strip, and a couple of my favorite songs to dance to are "Flap Your Wings," "Back That Ass Up," "Yeah," and, just for kicks, Wyclef's Stripper Song.

I think the song "I'm too sexy" is a pretty sweet strip song along with that "shake your ass, watch yourself" rap song

Tyler..."Jesse's Girl" was by Rick Springfield, not J Giles. You may have been thinking of "Centerfold." Also, incidentally, "Somebody's Baby" was by Jackson Browne, not that you asked.

Cause I'm a REAL asshole, it's Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield.
Cherry Pie is by Warrant, and how can we forget the insanely appropriate, (she's only) Seventeen by Winger!

LOOK AT ME IM SO COOL AND UNIQUE CUS I LISTEN TO BANDS NO ONE HAS HERD OF. THAT MEANS IM "UNDERGROUND" BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL SHEEP.

no for real, alot of you people have never been to a strip club. You cant just play every 80's song out there. It has to have a heavy kinda beat/pace so the girls can shake their ass to it.

Here is a few ive seen played at strip clubs ive been to:

metalica - enter sand man
joan jet - I love rock and roll
Poison - Unskinny Bop

Anytime the Howard Stern show on E! goes on location to Scores, the song is ALWAYS:

"This is how we do it" by Montell Jordan.

If they're hot white chicks with tattoos it's usually hard hitting classic rock.

If they're black or Peurto Rican chicks its usually Montell Jordan or nowadays, Lil Jon or Ying Yang Twinz or Ludacris, etc...

Naw, that's not us thankfully. I'll post a picture for you all tomorrow. It's actually quite a pain in the ass to install a dancing pole.

Hopefully since ours is off-campus we'll be fine. Our dean is a prick though.

Better be careful, Mr. Mason Jar...

And yes, I know you're in a frat house not a dorm, but I thought it was relevant anyway.

Iron Butterfly "In A Gadda Da Vida"

This song is good with strobe lights and whatnot, and it's 17minutes so the chick will just have to keep dancing until the music stops. Perfect for the pole!
