Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 1:42 PM hey man, how old are the tapes? if they are pre-2000 they might be quite rare and i'm sure some fellow loveline server admins who have hundreds of shows would volunteer to convert the tapes for you and in exchange give you a cd of shows on mp3 ... i'm sure someone will post here. p.s. it is kinda conisidered 'bad form' for paying for something that is free, like live music or loveline tapes. the stuff should be traded for free from fan to fan. —Tyler |

Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 5:32 PM Hey alexs, if you have any sort of high speed internet there are a few options to download digital shows, without the need to bother with cassettes or trading (in the traditional sense); check out the faq. —Kevin U. |

Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 6:17 PM Alexs, Here's what I do two different decks...one with a tape/cd deck and the other that plays .mp3 CDs. 1) There is a tape adapter (walmark $10) that will attach to any line out/headphone out on a walkman/MP3 player for tape usage. 2) You can get an FM transmitter (arkon or belkin make decent ones). 3) If you have a PDA, you can download the .mp3 files and listen. —benben |

Monday, September 20, 2004 at 9:32 AM I have a Muro Mr-100 mp3 player, and I love it! If you dont want to do the cassette adapter route (although this how I use it), it has a built-in FM transmitter which can broadcast the stored mp3s to any fm radio. By far, the best mp3 player Ive ever used.

Monday, September 20, 2004 at 12:57 PM also consider a PDA instead of a MP3 player. you can do a lot more with them and the price has come down on them. i got me a Sony Clie NX60 for $168 refurb w/ warranty. it's got an awesome screen, plays movies and DSP biult in so the sound is unbelievable. —crumple1 |
