Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 8:50 AM I found Drew's laser quote yesterday on the Drops page and just about pissed myself I was laughing so hard. Does anyone know what the context of that quote was? Was it something about laser tattoo removal or something? —laughing time is over |

I've always been curious to know the context of several Drew Drops, such as "you're fat!" and "you're gay!". I mean, the way he says both of them is in such a condescending tone that I can't imagine he'd have been talking to one of the callers. —thejoeinme |

Monday, September 20, 2004 at 6:58 PM Re: "You're gay." I'm about 80% sure that "You're gay." came from the TV show. A caller of presumably religious origin was trying to go straight for the sake of his family. Drew out of frustration made the remark, "You're gay.", in an attempt to help him realize that you can't just "be straight 'cause you want to". This was around '96 or '97. —steve |
