Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 2:26 PM Yeah, De Niro did sound weird in that movie. Supposedly he was recreating an authentic backwoods Washington accent, but it sure sounded like a mixture of really pungent Brooklyn and some kind of goofy European accent. Anyone here from rural Washington who can confirm or deny De Niro's claim to an accurate rendering? —snuffy |
