Sunday, August 1, 2004 at 8:40 AM I'm using Goldwave to edit shows from 2000 (the "Zone 105" source), and it's going well. I'll soon have 37 commercial free shows to offer up. How they get distributed is still under consideration. I hope everyone is cool with this. —Colin |

Sunday, August 1, 2004 at 12:40 PM Yeah I've been editing some of those too. For distribution, why not just go on the Direct Connect hub? —puck71 |

Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 6:10 AM Well if you just got on aim or something with a few of the regulars and sent them that might be easier. Just come into the DC hub and pm a few of the people with the bigger share sizes and connections. —Erlog |

Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 8:57 PM I'm also thinking about using bit torrent and asking a few people to hook up to me at a time. My upoload rate is 30kB/s. But, I'm not sure if a tracker is required. hmmmm —Colin |

Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 9:42 PM A tracker is always required. You might want to try posting on suprnova.org or a similar place so you don't have to setup your own tracker. There is also the added benefit of having more leechers on those sites, which means more bandwidth for everyone. Using MakeTorrent to create the torrent itself is quite simple. —Mahalo |
