It then forces its main weapon, a long proboscis ending in a sharp point, deep into the skull of its victim, enabling the Religion to control its host's every movement and action. The Religion is not without benefits to its host however; it greatly improves the strength and reflex of its host, and can extend the natural life span of the host by up to seven times! The host is a slave to the Religion for the rest of its life, always with the Religion upon its head like an ornate crown of ivory. When the host dies, the Religion will try to attach itself to another host, condemning the poor wretch to serve its new master. The only way to kill a Religion is to first kill its host, then as the Religion withdraws from its host, sever the proboscis before the Religion can attach itself to a new host - possibly you!
