He gave tips on how to ramble (got to have a good pair of walking shoes, got to have a woman that wants you to stop rambling, and you got to find a city that rhymes with everything). This show: http://lldb.triggersite.com/d20040114/ January 14, 2004 mentions in the review that "Adam brings back 'ramblin' and discusses how it differs racially." so it probably happened relatively recently before this date. remember they also have holiday break the second half of dec and till like the first monday of 2004 so those dates are out as possibilties.
