Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 8:40 PM Thanks for recording and releasing old shows, first. Second, I noticed you had a clip of May 24, 1999. Isn't that the episode where the guy talks about blowing his dog, and Drew and Adam discuss it for an hour or so, with raging listeners calling in? Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 8:56 PM Hey Nick, the part of that show that I have doesn't have any discussion about, or calls from that guy (I think his name was James?)... I'm not sure if that's the day it aired, but it could be - maybe it happened later on in the show. Since I recover them from cassettes, none have been complete shows (so far). Hopefully someday we can find a copy of that show, since it seems quite a few people are seeking it, but I guess that depends on whether people with old recordings (cassette or digital) stumble in here and decide to share their stuff with us. —Kevin U. |

She wanted to kill, so to speak, James for "abusing" the poor dog. James said Brutus seemed to enjoy it so he didn't feel it was abuse. Here's are some snippets I found... [03-10-98] The strangest call the duo said they had ever received was from James, a man who practiced bestiality with his dog, Brutus. His question about this practice was not whether it was acceptable or not, but why others could not accept him. Pinsky said an extremely small percentage of the population actually have this fetish. [02-19-01]Dr. Drew: A guy named James called the radio show. He wanted to know why people freak out when he tells them his sexual preference.He went on to talk about this monogamous, open, loving relationship with partner. His partner was his dog Brutus, a collie mix that he had trained to have sex with him. And he was into it. Actually I learned from that guy because he referred me to websites and there was this whole community of zoaphiliacs out there. We kept him on the line for two hours because we were so intrigued by him. [06-25-01]What’s the weirdest thing you have seen or maybe even heard about as a doctor?
...It was this guy named Jim asking "Why do people freak out when they find out what my sexual preference is?" "Well what is your preference?" "Well, I have this long monogamous relationship with my partner?" "Well what’s the big deal?" "Well, Brutus is my akida collie, you know my dog." He would have sex with his dog and his dog would have sex with him, if you get my drift.. Then the people listening were just outraged. And with all the calls we get about children being abused and people weren’t outraged by that, and Adam says "Would you rather be a dog in the Ideterod or would you rather be Brutus."
