this ad is so old. so dumb. so cheesy. it runs before the satalite cuts to the local commercials so everyone who listenes to loveline hears this damn commercial.

So this beggs the question: with all of us being sploosers and being pounded on the head with this ad 6 times a night x 5 nights a week x 52 weeks a year x 5 years average fan has been listening = 7800 times we have heard that damn commerical ...

So has anyone "Called the DATE-line ..." did you " ... meet a cool guy!" or " ... meet some cool people" ?

Remember, get some action kids! get out there and out of your parent's basements. If you see a hot person, talk to them and if you are intimidated by super hot members of the opposite sex, start with a low number and work up!

I love that you did the math on how many times superfans have heard that commercial. I remember asking about this a few months back, I wanted to know the affiliation and if anyone ever calls in with any stories like "I called the date line and met this fat chick but I banged her anyway and now I have crabs"

I'd love to hear those. But I've never called it obviously. I talk to hot chicks, but people say I'm softspoken, maybe thats my problem. That or I'm fat and I post on message boards. I'll let the hot chicks decide.

Add a few more onto that 7800 estimate for all the times I've re-heard it while editing commercials out of recordings ;)
and while were on the subject, on behalf of Mike I will propose his plan to eliminate these commercials - pool our money, buy the "dateline", and run it into the ground - it would be worth the loss.

haha, i hate that commercial too. my station doesnt play the malohah (sp?) part so thats y cue that loveline is over. i used to think that these ads were totally cheesy, now i know that
