Anyone have a reasonable method for getting on the DC bandwagon using a Linux box?

I found DCTC on freshmeat but it looks like it's going to take a lot of work to get a working client going.

Hopefully there's an easier way...

Yeah, go Windows OS.

Linux is for total nerds. I mean imagine all the trouble just to set-up DC on Linux. It would take HOURS compared to just... uhm... well... about 10 minutes if you do it on an MS box.

I know you're 31337 but save yourself some trouble.

There's a few listed here (including the one you already found, which seems to be the most full-featured): http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/faq/faq.php?display=faq&faqnr=6&catnr=2&prog=1&lang=en&onlynewfaq=1

I highly recommend the dcgui link off of the link puck gave you. It'll take you to the page for dcgui-qt which is what I use under fedora core 2 to connect to the loveline hub. It works great for me.
