How in the hell did they not edie out Jeremy's "fuckface" remark, and then his second f-bomb? Did anyone else hear it on the taped version? Are they TRYING to get Adam and Drew thrown off the air, or what?

On the broadcast I heard (91X), they didn't get the first one but they did edit the second one. I guess it goes to show Ken's incompetence, and how secure Anderson's job really is. No way Anderson would have missed that.

It sounded like "funkface" to me but their reaction was evidence that it was "fuckface." I thought they had time to insert funk with a drop button or something before it aired after the 7 second delay. The second one was bleeped.

Well it was definitely fuckface, and they said a couple times that they're on a 17 second delay now (since Janet Jackson). Craziness.

I hear or catch alot of the profanity. I think its weird how Adam may say something like, "Where did you go to finishing school" or he may cut them off the air. Now when Jeremy Piven was on I did here the F-bomb. That is the first time I have heard this term the F-bomb, pretty funny. I guess sometimes the F' word or the S-word does slip out. We are human and it happens. It is a late night talk show and it is easy for these profanity to come out. Face it, most kids are in bed or supposed to be and on the East coast def' in bed. So the majority of the people, adults listening well the teenagers listening but they already use those words. I think that people should be more concious when they call in not to use those words but what can you do. The delay is supposed to work haha.

yeah, I caught it here- the first one. It really is annoying hiding in my basement while calling and shoving blankets in door cracks so they won't hear me talking... BUT: as they said, they CAN say this, Howard Can't. It's a big deal if it's at a specific time. My friend didn't believe me when I told him about it- and then I told him I got on the show- what a phone call that was!

Anyone who gets offended at a little profanity I immediately consider suspect.

that's right from 10pm-6am it is a "safe harbor" no one can be fined for cursing during that time on the radio. 6am -10pm you can be fined. it's like adam says though the only time kids will actually be listening is 10pm and not at 6am.

I don't understand why profanity is not allowed. I understand the standards on television and it applies to radio but with the way Adam talks and uses his language it would seem to me that F this and Sh#@# that would fit in perfect on his show. He may not use the F word but he has a filthy mouth to boot.
