Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 5:15 PM Last night's show included way too much Adam ranting. I try not to be picky, but last night... last night was the straw that broke the camel's back. Remember, Adam, it's about the kids. I wonder if Drew gets mad when Adam wastes a whole show like he did last night. —Ogm |

Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 5:27 PM I wasnt going to start a post about my complaint but I decided I will add to this one. I think it was at the end of Sundays show but Adam and Drew were talking to a female about her guy problem. Drew mentioned marriage, the female says "Im not ready to get married," Drew replies "Nobody even mentioned marriage." Ahhhhhhh. Sorry for venting. —Marc |

Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 6:28 PM Well I'm at about 23 minutes into it and I rather enjoyed the plan for Drew to spot him beating off (cause of the surgery) and then the lightning round! So you're saying it gets tedious by the end of the show? —NJC |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 10:20 AM See, I totally disagree. I thought the last few nights have been some of the better shows. No guests needed. And yes, Adam is ranting, but he is ranting on target. Talking about how lesbians relate to each other and how certain people react in certain situations. Fabulous. So you get a little traffic, weather and carroms thrown in. enjoy. —Juanus |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 12:51 PM Does anyone really listen to the show other than because its funny? That's pretty much why I listen, I know the shows very informative and it's taught me many a thing over the last 6 years of listening, but still adam ranting is good, the callers are boring. —Darkfloyd |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 1:08 PM Right on Dark. Sure Loveline has lots of great medical advice... but isn't this how every decent call goes: "Yeah, I've got such and such problem" "Oh really, for how long?" "Oh x months" "And when were you abused?" "When I was x years old." "Well go get some treatment and/or get to a doctor as soon as possible." I know that I keep listening for Adam's rants. Though "the weather report" got really annoying really quickly, and I wish Adam wouldn't cut Drew off so much. —loubat |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 2:34 PM I like to think of it as a Proactive approach to Loveline. if you had to have kids listen to only one show and get a few lessons on life. monday nights show (7/12/2004)is the one. It has a little bit of everything. Think of it as the FAQ of Loveline shows. All of the most common questions were covered... at 62 degrees. —Juanus |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 7:28 PM Am I the only one who listens to it for reasons other than Adam being funny? I like Dr Drew a lot, sometimes more so than Adam. But I can't tell you how much I've learned from listening to the show, and that's generally why I listen. Also, it acts almost as a release for me, especially at school. —thejoeinme |

Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 7:52 PM Let Adam rant all he wants. Thats why hes on the show for a comic release. His rants are genious and thats why he gets paid the big bucks. I dont get annoyed by his rants what so ever. —Adam is God |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 2:15 AM I kinda agree. I came here just to say something about it. I live in Atlanta so we just heard Tuesday's show yesterday. I like Adam's ranting when he keeps it in context, but the incessant "Shake your ass! Shake your ass!" kinda gets grating. I like when he opines on the calls or the callers or on our culture. Other than that, I don't care about his personal problems that much. I wish he would let Drew talk too. Adam goes all Braveheart when he gets on his soapbox. —Jason |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 3:35 AM I wish Adam would shut the hell up sometimes and let Dr. Drew speak. Maybe that is how they want the show to be. Sometimes when you call in and ask a simple question they go around it and never get to the point. If you want help and really want a genuine answer don't call in. I can only handle so much of Adam speaking on himself. I wish he would allow Dr. Drew to speak more. I also think when there is a guest Adam tends to be more agressive to his callers. The few that can get in to the show. When Dr. Drew is alone he takes tons of calls but he can be tedious and boring. Sometimes I feel the compassion in Dr. Drew and other times I just think he doesn't give a crap. I don't think he is a man of compassion as much as Adam spouts off about. —Krista |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 12:26 PM Oh, I enjoy Adam's rants, too. But whenever I talk to anyone who has heard of the show and has listened to it, they always say "it's hilarious, Adam is so funny!" I just wonder if I'm the only one who listens to it for more than just Adam. —thejoeinme |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 12:47 PM Dr. Drew is a man of supreme PASSION, not compassion. i like the show because it makes me feel better about myself, i dont live in a trailer with 3 kids and an abusive husband/wife. and really these last 3 days have been some of the best episodes ive heard in my scant 2 years of listening. i dont see why everyone is complaining about adam. who would break it down? who rants about the police? who rants about carrom? who rants about random stuff every night and is sure to make me laugh? adam does. and thats why he gets paid the big bucks. i would listen w/o adam a just drew show (no stryker), i have and enjoyed it. adam needs no shut the hell up, he makes the show go, i dont think itd still be on without adam, personally i think you need a nice tall glass of quit your bitching, but thats just me —goodtimes3 |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 1:08 PM The only reason the show is syndicated in so many cities is because of Adam. So don't start complaining about him ranting too much. It's exactly the reason the show is as popular as it is. Drew is very uninteresting if Adam isn't there. The 2 of them together are hillarious. I would much rather listen to 2 hours of Adam making good points about simple stupid things people do than listen to 2 hours of taking calls from retards and their problems. Half of the questions aren't even important anyways. Don't like the show, don't listen! —OldTrafford017 |

Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 1:10 PM While he supposedly cannot read, Adam does has a unique talent of being able to whip up an in-depth analogy ON THE SPOT. It is not as easy as it sounds. Especially, when you're doing a LIVE radio show.... —digger |
