Monday, July 12, 2004 at 1:21 PM I think that's what it is. I've gotten through a couple of times in the last year or so and could barely hear Drew. He sounded very far off. The callers have been saying this lately as well but the guys are giving it the "just our retard callers" treatment. Unless they are intentionally keeping Drew's volume low to fuel the "see how dumb our callers are" comedy (which I seriously doubt), someone - ANDERSON, CHRIS, KEN - please try to fix that. —Lou Cypher |

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 1:37 PM If you can't hear him very well, turn the bass up. He's got a really deep voice that, when I'm listening in the car, literally makes said car vibrate haha. —thejoeinme |

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 3:07 PM I've noticed on numerous occasions that he starts to mumble or get quieter as he nears the end of a sentance, and I imagine that if I were trying to hear him through a phone it might be tough... Drew seems to have a big range of speaking volumes. —Kevin U. |

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 3:50 PM Yeah, Drew does kind of trail off sometimes. Part of the problem is also that Adam (and I swear, sometimes the callers as well) seem(s) to sense Drew trailing off and will start speaking before he's finished his sentence. I keep noticing that. —Dark Laith |

Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 6:22 AM Yeah, I've noticed this too. Noticed it for a LONG while actually, I got through once in...96? I think it was, and boy, I couldn't hear either of them for crap, but especially Drew. I think I got through once after that when Drew was on, and the same thing. Last time I was on Drew didn't say much for the Germany of Florida, but I had already blasted the volume control in anticipation. And he mumbles like CRAZY, it's like Adam has said, he seems so bored with his own answers that he has said a thousand times, and words with a gajillion sylables in them, that he prefers just to mumble through them. Hard to bring it up during a show though. You'll either get put on hold, hung up on, or ranted at about giving them a hard time, or all three. And chances are they wouldn't change it anyway. —Masteel |
