Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 4:18 PM From their "Tonight's Best TV" Section: 9-11PM The Great Domestic Showdown (ABC, TV-PG-L) Host Adam Carolla wonders where it all went wrong as he watches six men and women compete to be ''America's next domestic diva.'' Somewhere, Jimmy Kimmel sits back with a bucket of Orville Redenbacher Ultimate Butter popcorn and laughs his ass off. —mikeyfish |

Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 4:42 PM "laughs his ass off" is ambiguous. It could be meant in a good way. After all, EW did list the show under "Tonight's BEST TV". Or are they hinting that Adam left the Jimmy Kimmel Show to do GDS and now regrets it? That's news to me. Somebody call tonight and ask Adam about it. Should be good for a 10-minute rant. —Bosie D. |

Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 6:45 PM Here's a good article on EW's Top 25 comedians http://www.stereogum.com/archives/001297.html Somehow Ellen Degeneres and Kelly Ripa actually made the list! PFT, fuck EW. However I'll be doing the same as Jimmy Kimmel.

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 11:02 AM Entertainment Weekly is full of shit if it seriously thought The Great Domestic Showdown belonged in "Tonight's Best TV" section. I watched about twenty minutes of it before I turned it off. Adam was kind of stiff and not very funny. The show was a mish-mash of various "reality" programs. I wouldn't watch it again. Adam belongs on Loveline, the only place where his talent truly shines. —Saffeau |
