Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 6:38 PM I missed the Wednesday show during Bruce Week, and I was unable to access the "recent shows" ftp servers until today, which do not seem to have it anymore. Can someone give me a synopsis? Did I miss anything important? —Dark Laith |

Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 9:40 PM It's still on the 64.29.16.135 FTP, as well as very plentiful on the Direct Connect hub. (I don't remember anything about it, but it's definitely still available) —puck71 |

Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 7:02 AM That's not working out so great for me... I followed the instructions, and I either get "connection timed out" each time I try to download the episode from someone, or "no slots available". Suggestions? —Dark Laith |

Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 8:57 PM "No slots available" means the person you're trying to get a show from is sending all the files they can at that time. In other words, you gotta wait. However, it sounds like you might not be connected right if you're getting connection time outs. Are you trying to connect in active or passive mode? It does sound like you're getting into the hub, so feel free to ask questions in there. If no one answers, just stick around, people will show up eventually. Your best bet to find people there is during live show broadcasts (10-12 Sunday-Thursday nights) —puck71 |

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 6:27 AM Each result (the timeout and the unavailable slots) occured on different settings (meaning, one problem occured on Active and one on Passive). I forgot which was which, but I guess I'll have to try again. Thank you for pointing out that all I have to do is wait, though... it probably wouldn't have occured to me to do that, heh. —Dark Laith |

Monday, July 12, 2004 at 2:14 PM The unavailable slots isn't a problem with YOUR settings, like I said, it just means the person you're trying to get a show from is already sending their maximum amount of files at the moment, so you just have to wait. It's kinda like getting a "server full" message when you try to log into an FTP server or some websites. Try to focus on when you get the time-out errors. Those are most likely happening due to a problem on your end. —puck71 |
