30% Sean Hannity
5% Rush Limbaugh
15% Latenight shows such as Conan/Letterman/Leno
10% Loveline, to the extent that he has taken advice-style calls on more than one occasion. The backbone of the show is stolen from howard stern. He's got the crazy sidekicks exactly like stern does, and there are just too many similarities to mention. He then throws in some political commentary to try and give the show a legitimate veneer, and he then he gets all of his comedic bits from latenight television. This is the Mancow's formula. I used to listen to Mancow for years. Then I realized I hated the morning radio dj style. Then I realized I hated listen to extremely far left/right wing political commentary. I had also been listening to loveline for years and started hating whenever Mancow would give advice. The final result is that I don't listen to him any more because he annoys the hell out of me. —Erlog |
