Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 3:20 PM Howard Stern mentioned it this morning but I can't find any articles on it. He then kissed Doug Stanhope's & Joe Rogan's ass and saying that the "vehicle" wasnt proper for them. However he failed to mention that they were driving an old beat up junker that Kimmel & Adam Carolla make more money not driving. Also on the Stern front if anyone's interested, I think it was last Thursday or Friday he talked about how he had a dream where he was at a big Stern Show & Friends gig and Adam was on stage and did 3 hours of funny standup. —dr ipod |

Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 3:33 PM From the Boston Globe: NO JOKE Fans of chauvinistic humor will have to find an alternative to "The Man Show." That's because Worcester's Doug Stanhope, who co-hosts the show with Newton native Joe Rogan, revealed this weekend that the program has been canceled. (Comedy Central had no comment yesterday.) For the record, Stanhope didn't sound too disappointed. "Native Americans say that a camera takes away your soul," he said during his show at the Comedy Connection. "I never understood that until I did 'The Man Show.' Now I'm like, 'Oh, that's how that works. Can I have my soul back now?' "

Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 4:22 PM I thought Adam mentioned that a few weeks, ago, he was yelling at entertainment weekly about their agenda against him, and how he can jimmy carried the man show along, and how no one should be shocked it was not coming back on another season when they plugged in two other hosts who just did what they were told by producers. —piesore |

Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 8:08 AM Comedy Central is so retarded. At board meetings there, the consensus must be that they're better off playing re-runs of movies from the 80s over and over again rather than producing new content. On one end of the specturm, you have MTV -- new shit, all the time. And, on the other end, comedy central -- "Oww, look, we have South Park and Reno 911! We totally produce all these cool shows all the time!" —ZT |
