I'm not up when the show's on, but someone should call in and get Adam going about this: http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewNation.asp?Page=%5CNation%5Carchive%5C200406%5CNAT20040609a.html To sum up the situation, the ACLU is threatening to sue the county of LA because their county seal has a small cross on it. No mention of the pagan goddess who occupies the majority of the seal. Perhaps more disturbing is that THEY ARE GOING TO CHANGE IT!!! 
How can the cost and resources it will take to change the seal, which there must be millions of all throughout the county, be justified to the taxpayers? I bet these are the same assholes who bitch when certain programs don't get enough funding... —NJC |

Why doesn't the ACLU focus on fighting the intrusive PATRIOT Act and keeping the government out of our sex lives, instead of squandering all its resources on all this insignificant, purely symbolic shit? —Saffeau |

Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 9:02 PM This reminds me of when Adam talks about how the government doesn't have enough man power to thoroughly secure the airports, yet they amazingly have enough manpower to enforce the "six foot barrier" rule in strip clubs -- "Really?!? -- Not enough man power?!? -- How 'bout taking some of the cops off the Boner Patrol and sending them down to the air port."
