Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:31 AM I was reading Bill Simmon's (The Sports Guy)lastest column. He is a former writer for Jimmy Kimmel live and has mentioned Adam and Jimmy in several past columns. He wrote about his recent trip to Italy with the Carolla/Kimmel Crew. He usually mentions Adam by name but this time he talked about one of his friend's "Ace." It seems too weird that there would be another "Ace" on the trip who would buy racing shoes. (Adam has mentioned that he is jealous of those who own their own pair of driving shoes.) So I am assuming its Adam and just decided not to use his real name. Simmons wrote: "My friend Ace dropping 90 Euros on a pair of Italian Puma driving shoes, then justifying the purchase by saying, "Who knows, there might be a day when I'm running late for work and I need to break them out?" And he was serious. Anyway, it's good to be home."

More than hinting at just that, he also kinda confirms the beliefs of posters here as to the possible motivation for Adam's trip: "I gave up everything for a trip to Italy ... or as my stepdad calls it, "It-lee." In my hotel in Rome, when the clock went past a certain hour (probably 10:00 or so, but I don't remember for sure), LITERALLY half of the channels on the TV switched immediately to various degrees of porn.
