Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 2:26 AM did anyone else hear this? I unfortunately have no idea what product he was schilling, as I was so completely overwhelmed by his horrible femme British accent. I think it was about seatbelts or drunk driving, so on further thought it wasn't a product. It was more of a PSA. I want a recording. Anyone make one? It does have a femme/homosexual take on it, notice the long slur in "campaign"... Britain's have a reputation of speaking too fast, not like that, they'd be accused of "dumbing down" the lanuage, such as taking out vowels letters from certain words like "colour"... Have you NOT HEARD Anderson doing the stupid NFL Blitz Pro ads for the last 2 years (the first couple versions, he growled so intensely you couldn't hear the product he was pitching... apparently a video game, platform unspecified) ?? Have you NOT HEARD Anderson making up Y J Stinger ads during 2003 ? He used to do the ads so spacey and freeform, and like always he had a knack for not revealing what the product was or who might want to buy it. The first hundred times I head this one I thought Y J Stinger was chewing tobacco, or BBQ-flavored beer. Wild. Have you NOT HEARD Anderson urging us to catch the Olympics live on X, Y, and Z broadcast venues for the Summer of 2004 ? What is with you people?
