Monday, May 17, 2004 at 5:49 AM Can anyone tell me the origin of the "Debbie" clips that are dropped into the show, I haven't been a fan for very long, I just moved and the local radio station worships him, playing episodes virtually 24/7 and it beats listening to the same Nickleback bullshit on my break at work. I don't mind it at all I like Artie and Howard, it doesn't touch loveline in the quality dept though too much random yelling and unfunny bantor. I hope someone can clear this up for me, the drop is very very creepy. —sneedo |

Monday, May 17, 2004 at 8:36 AM They are beyond creepy, especially when you consider their source: Those are tapes that Vinnie Favalli (sp?) made for his girlfriend (now wife) when they were living across the country from one another. Vinnie actually brought those tapes in himself to be played on the air. oh, and for those that don't know who he is: Vinnie works for CBS. His title is something convoluted, like 'Vice President for Late Night Programming - East Coast" . He is basically the liason between the network and the Letterman show. —Trainwreck jm |

Monday, May 17, 2004 at 3:50 PM Vinnie volunteered these tapes up because they were playing Bababoey's tape he had made for his girl to win her back (no luck) Whenever they play that "hello hello" in Gary's voice that is the tape. Both tapes were patheric but Vinnie's is too creepy taking shots of his junk for her. ewww. Howard has a softer side and I love when that comes out. Something else to listen to during the 22 hours Loveline is not on. Good times. —stass |

It played back in 1999, anyway I need to shorten the kbps it may sound like crap but wont take as long to upload and download. I will do it this weekend and try to upload it to the ftp. If not try doing a search on Bearshare or WinMX "Gary tape" always shows up on those from time to time. —joemama |
