Monday, May 3, 2004 at 4:09 PM Hi. Do you guys know if Destiny's Child was a guest on Loveline a few years ago, just before they hit the big time? I could swear they were on, but my partner says no way. If you could find the date they were on, that would be great. Thanks. —Saffeau |

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 4:15 PM I remember when they were guests, but I thought they were already popular. They actually sang part of a song, and they sounded really good, and Adam liked them. The only date I can find is a best of espisode 2001-07-18, not the date they were actually on though, maybe someone else will have better luck. —piesore |

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 4:40 PM Yep, Adam always talks about what nice girls they were and then follows it up with, "I can't believe how young they were -- I mean, they were like 21 or 22 at the time." It was around the time of the Teen Choice Awards. I'm assuming by their appearance on that best-of show, that it had to be either 2000 or 2001. —steve |

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 4:42 PM P.S. What year was "Say My Name" popular? Isn't that what they sang acapella on the show? —steve |

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 6:25 PM Edited Monday, May 3, 2004 at 6:26 PM That's the only record I have of them too (7/18/2001 best of show) I'm guessing it was sometime in 2000, since I have most of 2001 in my spreadsheet and don't have them listed other than 7/18/01. I am missing some shows in 2001, so I can't guarantee it's 2000, but chances are if nobody knows when it was, it was before 2001 since that's basically when we all started keeping good track. —puck71 |

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 6:57 PM Well, I'm at work and I'm bored, so I've been researching this -- the only information I've been able to find by searching the keywords "Loveline" and "Destiny's Child" is that Beyonce Knowles and Drew have the same birthday -- September 4th. Other than that, I got nothin'. —steve |

Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 12:52 PM "Say My Name" was mid '2000... it was the last song off of The Writing's On The Wall... Don't ask me why I remember that off-hand... —salemthepocketfox |
