Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 9:00 PM Edited Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 9:02 PM He was on Kimmel a few days ago - maybe Adam cornered him during rehearsal and convinced him to come on Loveline..?

I love Dave, so hopefully he shows up and it turns out to be a good show! I imagine Adam and him will get along well.

Friday, March 26, 2004 at 6:33 AM OMG I CANNOT WAIT! I'M THE BIGGEST DAVE ATTELL FAN! I hope it doesn't turn out to be like the Triumph episode. That wasn't funny at all. He couldn't come up with on-the-fly jokes. But that is Adam and Dave's specialty. REALLY good times! —j4k3 |

Friday, March 26, 2004 at 10:51 AM surreal. Dave Attell is not some fantastic comedian that has become famous for his comedic talent. He was a struggling so-so that had a good idea for a television program. He admits this and has a self deprecating style. Don't get me wrong, he's a likable guy and I enjoy his show - but this isn't the second coming of Bob Hope. —jak |

Friday, March 26, 2004 at 1:27 PM Was the Triumph episode unfunny? I'll have to check it out...that's too bad really, because he's done some really classic bits on Conan. I'd assumed he'd be able to hold his own b/c those things really aren't planned out much, but there probably is a lot of editing to only get the best material. And again, it's always that issue of territory, I think a lot of comedians who are come on the show feel like they have something to prove, and it comes off feeling a little desperate and forced. Like Titus, it seemed like people liked that, and it wasn't a bad episode, but Titus himself seemed to be going off a mile a minute trying to find interesting stuff to say. —piesore |

Monday, April 5, 2004 at 12:31 AM Triumph was funny. People just have high demands, and there were no visuals and it was a different format. Attell should be funny. Marking my calendar. —Jake |

Monday, April 5, 2004 at 9:56 PM Triumph wasn't all that funny as it can be. It sounded to me like Smiegel was tired as hell from doing too much promotion for the album. —GDG |
