Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 9:52 PM I don't know if it's just my ultra-crappy campus network, but I'm almost completely unable to download the weekly clips for this week. If I can actually establish a connection, the download rate is barely not even 1 k/s and eventually the download would time out after going so slowly. I tried another computer and had the same problem, so I don't think its my connection settings. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem. —clodhopper |

Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 10:48 PM Yeah, is anyone else having trouble? I'm distressed :-( Try downloading the "Anderson Cowan" clip (from the footnotes page) instead. That clip is on the same server as the HTML pages... i.e., it's in Texas (I think), whereas the other MP3s are in Los Angeles... so if the Anderson clip doesn't work either, the problem is probably on your end. Speaking of Anderson, just now there was another glitch with the delay... second time this month... —Silent Virgin |
