Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 7:25 AM I have these two old shows that I got from alt.binaries.great. If anybody wants them (DC++ servers especially) tell me where I can/should upload those two files to. Also, I can request old episodes although it takes up to a week before someone is kind enough to upload it again so tell me which old shows are missing from the database and I'll get it. —j4k3 |

Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 5:48 PM j4k3 -- the best possible known way to see if an episode is circulating is to go to that particular detail page in the Loveline Database: http://lldb.triggersite.com/ and if it is downloadable, right under the info on the host / guest / engineer, there will be a link to 1, 2 or 3 different ways to get the file. If nothing is there, it isn't in circulation (probably). Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 6:42 PM Also keep in mind that some of us (or at least, I) am constantly on the lookout for higher quality versions of old shows. So... if you aren't just getting reposts of the same files already available from Osmosis/Trig/DC-hub, and they are at a higher bitrate than 16 kbps (as a majority of the available old show are), then some people would definately appreciate getting the better quality version.
On the other hand, I suspect that the shows being offered on the newsgroup are just the same files we are already familiar with, but I will always hold out hope incase someday they happen to be from a new source. —Kevin U. |

Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 12:56 PM if higher quality is what you want I have 80kb birate versions of Blink 182's Mark Hoppus from 2001 [in the top 20 on the triggersite if I remember correctly] and Blink 182's November 2003 appearance, both with commercials edited out... Same goes for the Something Corporate appearance from 2003 in October in a 96kb bitrate without commercials if you're interested... oh and I have Dr Drew on Stryker's show from just before Blink 182's appearance when he was talking to Mark Hoppus about Robert Smith from the cure being on the new Blink 182 cd, Drew makes a funny reference about Micheal Jackson too... but then again, I'm not sure if you have all these already!... —salemthepocketfox |
