Monday, March 8, 2004 at 3:23 PM Anderson has been on top of the drops lately. I heard one I have never heard before, "yea whatever". It was a chick saying it and no, it's not the "Whatever" that used to be a staple back when "But, he was really sweet" was popular. I wasn't going to, but what the hell-here's a clip: yeawhatever.mp3 —NJC |

Monday, March 8, 2004 at 4:34 PM Yeah, there's the two original Liam Lynch "whatevah's" from United States of Whatever and then the female, "Yeah, whatever." I was always under the impression that the female "Yeah, whatever." was from Tera-don't-call-me-Tara. I thought it came from a story she told on-air a couple of years ago... but I could be way wrong. —steve |

Monday, March 8, 2004 at 9:43 PM I love the little-girl voice "Kumbaya" I remember that when it happened a couple years back. It's always super funny when Anderson plays it too. —puck71 |

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 1:12 AM My favorite girl drop is the little little girl-voiced "A, B, C, D..." I remember the show that the drop is from, and it's a little freaky that it came from a 19 or 20 year old. —Scott Evil |

NJC: this site's MP3 is dated "July 29, 2002", so this drop isn't new... it's just an old one that Anderson hasn't played in a long time. Darkfloyd: Did you mean "new drops" on this site, or "new" in general? In case you mean the former, I've just emptied my queue of waiting drops: Alphabet
Bang!
It Is Grand
Mahalo
You're Gonna Go to Jail, Buddy
Hurm... I guess the Huell Howser one is incomplete (the "...and beautiful" is missing). —Silent Virgin |

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 8:59 AM Drops are becoming the new endangered species. However, if the Aztec gods ever smile upon us again and token gifts of baby goats and chunks of obsidian were proffered and accepted, I'd sure like to see the "Laughing Time is Over" drop added to the treasury.

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 1:37 PM how about this one of Adam's? "She should have her hands cut off!" in a russian (?) accent... would be fun, only have heard it once, and it was while adam was ranting about Judith Reagan the Dell publisher —Tyler |

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 3:32 PM Speaking of drops, how 'bout "Are you a Mormon? last night? That drop was on fire! It's the only drop I know that's batting a thousand in terms of fooling the callers. —steve |

Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 3:38 PM I think the "Mormon" drop is being worked into the rotation a lot more these days. Seems like I hear it at least twice a week. The REALLY funny part is the original call it was taken from. Anyone remember the drop in its original context? Freakin hilarious. —Agent 007 |

Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 7:27 PM Silent virgin you are the best! I always look forward to new drops. I have backpack with speakers and i load all the loveline drops on my mp3 player and play them real loud in the hallways at school and turn lots of heads. It's fun, and it's also great when ppl recognize adam and drew, so I'm not the only fan of the show around. —Darkfloyd |

Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 12:07 PM Whose voice is it--the female "Ha ha haaaaa" laughter? Just curious. Also, does anyone have just the DAG "Don't look at me" rough-trade clip, separated out from the rest of the episode? It's just so funny, it cracks me up every time I hear it, especially how fast he does the Ooh!-Squirt-Snore sounds... —harmanl2 |

Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 1:13 PM So frustrating that I can't remember exactly who was the 'hahahahah....ha' clip. Here's what I do remember, they were bimbos - like Playboy Bunnies or the like. I actually remember them as being sisters though when I tried to find them on Trig's site I came up empty. Anyway, Adam threw them out of the studio. —jak |

Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 2:35 PM Just heard Anderson drop the "You a mormon?" on the show with Mindy Clarke. He did a great job, right at the right time and fooled the caller - she said "no, I'm Jewish" ;-) —NJC |

Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 8:06 PM The 'ha ha ha haaaaaaa' girls were quite possibly Playmates like Jak has already mentioned -- as far as I can tell, they were famous for dating the Nelson twins. Adam talked about this on a show from last year. Anderson cut in and told a great story about how the guys from Nelson used to baby-sit him or something like that -- anyone remember how the story actually went? —steve |

Friday, March 12, 2004 at 2:11 AM Funnily enough, I just listened to this show (1/28/03) a few days ago. The guest (Adam Rodriguez) asked who the girl was laughing, and Adam and Drew told about these two hot twins who were dating the guys from Nelson. My guess would be the Barbi twins, since Adam C. reiterated several times that they were in Playboy. They didn't go into any detail about what the laugh was about or anything like that. Then Anderson jumped in to say that he had been babysat by the Nelsons, that they were punk at the time, and they would let him smoke hash with them when he was about 8 or 9 years old. Drew obviously was shocked by that little revelation. :) —Scott Evil |

Friday, March 12, 2004 at 5:23 PM YES! Thank you Scott Evil! I wanted to listen to that show again, but I couldn't remember the date -- I had a really vague feeling that it was sometime between January and May of last year, but I wrote it off figuring it would be waaaay to hard to find. You found the proverbial needle in a haystack for me. —steve |
