Monday, March 1, 2004 at 4:54 PM He hates NASCAR because I do believe he's somewhat a fan of Formula 1 (I remember him sometime ago marvelling about how complicated the dynamics of the engine setup is in Formula 1 and once he even mentioned the name of one of the all-time F1 greats - Jackie Stewart) and any fan of F1 knows how retarded and lame NASCAR racing is. Back when I was a construction worker, I recall hearing this debate between the older journeymen and the apprentices about NASCAR. Same thing with mechanics. Most of the gas station mechanics I know are NASCAR fans; but my brother-in-law, who works on custom imports and F1 cars, sneers at those lowly NASCAR Neanderthals. Takes all kinds. Pan Pan feels he should know if he's to expand his horizons...and his choice of sexual partners. Learning a little about the NFL proved a positive boon to my love life.
