Monday, February 2, 2004 at 4:18 PM Anyone notice the recent tension between Dr. Drew and Adam? It seems as though Dr. Drew is getting a bit ansy these days, and Adam doesn't seem to care -- doesn't look good. Frankly Adam could run his own radio show and have guests and stuff a la a Howard Stern -- I mean that's basically what we have now -- —Josh |

Monday, February 2, 2004 at 7:42 PM God bless Adam and his sense of humour, but without Drew it would not be much of a medical advice show. —Osmosis |

Monday, February 2, 2004 at 9:45 PM Hey -- TF you're right. I mis-wrote about "I mean that's basically what we have now". I was wrong. Loveline is a program that helps a lot of mis-guided people -- nothing like the Howard Stern show -- no matter how much Adam goes off topic. —Josh |

Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 1:28 AM Edited Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 1:34 AM I was just thinking today how Drew seems too influenced by Adam's slacker lack of tolerance for callers. They seem to only respond to the status quo Loveline callers and shut down anything a bit on the fringe. Example: If you try to be specific to get to YOUR question, if Adam wants you to respond to HIS question like fessing up to your job that you have "right now" or that you were sexually abused pre-six years old you better agree whether it is true or not because they will not listen to your question. IOW they only answer the question they want to not the question you have unless it is the same pack they have answered a thousand times. They complain that every caller is the same yet they couldn't hear anything different if it was there for them. Yes they did get in the guy that cut the head off a corpse but I am speaking more to the issue of being an actual service for people that have a real question that may not fit into their mood of the evening. —Cracked |
