Monday, February 2, 2004 at 2:22 PM Hey, usually I am able to download the previous night's episode the next morning but due to Trig's dissapearnce and the overload at NJCTech's HTTP I have been unable to get it. DC++ has just been a disaster. Does anyone know where else I can get an episode? Also if someone does have it would they be able to IM transfer it to me? My screen name is ESNTI. I would of course transfer it to anyone who wanted it. Thanks and good times. —Marc |

Monday, February 2, 2004 at 2:33 PM Can you elaborate on how DC is a disaster? I think FlyinACE's temp hub is a good temporary solution to the massive demand vs. little supply we currently have. —Kevin U. |

Monday, February 2, 2004 at 4:10 PM Usually I have no problem with DC++...I have a hub for my university that works great and Trig's worked well as well. The problems that I have encountered: when I try to communicate it takes forever to post my message, "connections timeout" when I try to get file lists, and speeds are horrible on my end...like 4-7 bps or whatever, usual time to download things are like 40 hours. Perhaps it is all errors on my end so if anyone had suggestions it would be great. I totally appreciate the makeshift hub and am glad it has worked for others. —Marc |

Monday, February 2, 2004 at 4:17 PM This isn't something I have ever heard of, but it sounds like your software isn't communicating with the hub correctly for some reason, anyone else getting anything similiar? I guess my best suggestion is to maybe search around on the DC++ forums? —Kevin U. |
